Interactive Digital Centre Asia(IDCA) is a strategic partnership among Temasek Polytechnic, IM Innovations Pte Ltd and global technology companies, focusing on 3D Interactive Digital Media (IDM) solutions and services for various industries. IDCA is an expansion of the original strategic partnership between Temasek Polytechnic and IM Innovations Pte Ltd which started with the establishment of the 3D Media Studio in 2005 to promote the pervasive use of 3D visualisation and digital media solutions and services.  With the success of 3D Media Studio, Temasek Polytechnic, IM Innovations and EON Reality Inc. formally launched IDCA on 1st November 2007, supported by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). Their  key target markets are in sectors such as engineering, architecture, transportation, healthcare and education.

The Media Development Authority (MDA), Singapore was created to develop Singapore into a vibrant global media city as well as foster a creative economy and a connected society. MDA was formed on 1 January 2003 from the merger of the Singapore Broadcasting Authority, the Films and Publications Department, and the Singapore Film Commission. Guiding its work was the Media 21 plan, a blueprint charting the directions for growth for the media industry.

Temasek Polytechnic Singapore is part of Interactive Digital Centre Asia (IDCA), a strategic partnership among global technology companies, focusing on 3D Interactive Digital Media (IDM) solutions and services for various industries. Besides providing a comprehensive range of digital media and 3D related software, IDCA is well equipped to train and showcase the use of 3D technology and solutions. At their training facility and solution center they house a state-of-the-art immersive 3-sided display CAVE (EON Icube) environment to allow clients to experience immersive “virtual reality” walk-troughs.

Established in 2006, SIMT, SC Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology, was conceived and mandated by S.C. State legislature to be a “profit-center” and be placed on the academic campus of Florence-Darling Technical College to attract, train and retain manufacturing and information technology companies to the Southeast region of the nation. A key focus of the SiMT is to provide simulation facilities that will link engineering to manufacturing technology. IDC France The Centre de réalité virtuelle in Clermont-Ferrand, France is a new, state-of-the-art facility built to showcase 3D visual content management and virtual reality applications. The facility hosts a 4-wall immersive virtual environment, the EON ICube , autostereoscopic screen, portable stereoscopic projection systems, and an EON Ibox.
