The Avatar Movie from renowned director James Cameron use reportedly the most advanced special effects ever seen in movie making. Several technologies that were used to create the Avatar Movie (which budget is estimated to have exceeded $300M before adding the marketing costs) are similar to what EON Reality has already pioneered in the application areas of defense & aerospace such as the EON ICUBE six degree of freedom; a motion tracking capability to remotely control virtual reality scenes over distance using EON Coliseum technology.
Coincidentally, even some of the EON 3D holographic equipment is resembling the futuristic holographic equipment shown in the movie’s Pandora control room (with the difference that the holographic effects in the movie are just artificially generated with CG effects) while EON holographic systems are real and productive equipment used by global 1000 today to bring training and education into life.
An example is the DMOF army depot facility in Tobyhanna, a working laboratory that utilizes cutting edge virtual reality and holographic technology such as EON TouchLight, and EON Holopodium for research and development of new maintenance technologies.
This may well provide some market help for the 3D industry as this type of movie is generating increasing consumer expectations and demand for 3D technologies, immersions and interaction that in turn drive companies’ demand for solutions like i3D products and Virtual meetings, training and communication environments.

Yes EON 3D holographic equipment is REALLY resembling the futuristic holographic equipment shown in the movie’s Pandora control room, good work!
